​Dinner Nights:
The PTO organizes dinner nights at local restaurants throughout the year from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm providing families with a fun and social way to connect while supporting the school:



A portion of your bill goes directly back to the school—just mention the Leonardo Da Vinci School fundraiser when you order! It’s an easy (and delicious) way to connect with other families and help fund PTO programs.

OTHER PTO EVENTS:
  • October 29th: Harvest Fest at the school gym from 5:00 pm-7:00pm for K-5 families
  • November 12: Are You Smarter Than a LdV Student @ Badger State Brewing
  • January date TBD: Family BINGO!


POPCORN Tuesday
Popcorn Tuesdays
Parent volunteers are needed to pop and bag corn, then distribute the orders to the classrooms on 10 Tuesday mornings throughout the school year. We start right after morning drop-off and usually finish by 10 am. Sign-up link coming soon

Do not forget, teachers will not distribute a class list, so the PTO Connect is the best way to contact classmates and families. If you have not included your information yet, use the link to connect with the great community at Leonardo da Vinci! Please note, if you have submitted your information in previous years, it is carried forward into the new year. However, if you have a new student at da Vinci, (including younger siblings new to the school) please consider adding your information. The PTO connect is only shared with parents who submit their information. It is never posted anywhere public.

Mission
​The mission of the PTO is to supplement and enrich the educational experience of students at the Leonardo Davinci school for gifted learners.
The PTO supports students, teachers and families by donating school supplies such as musical instruments, books, science models and PE equipment, funding the school store, paying for field trips, paying for volunteer background checks, paying for the end-of-the -year school carnival, paying for destination imagination teams, paying for dinners during PTO conferences, lunch during teacher appreciation week and presenting teachers with gifts during the holidays..
The PTO organizes events and activities such as the Back-To-School PTO Food Truck, Harvest Fest, Trivia Night, Game Night, Urban Air Night, Dinner Nights, Apparel Sale, Popcorn Sale and Marcus Cinema ticket Sale, supports the Pi Day Run, runs the Chess Club, maintains the PTO Connect database, the PTO website, the PTO Facebook page, the Teacher's Wishlist, the Teacher's Favorite Things list, the School Scrip and the Box Tops fundraiser.
​The PTO receives no reimbursement for all its work ensuring that every dollar donated, raised or earned is returned to the PTO for the school and its students. 

     

Here is what the PTO has budgeted for the 2025-26 school year:
  • School store - $1,600
  • DI teams $650​
  • Ukeleles - $1000
  • Madison field trip (4 th grade) - $1,600
  • Pi day committee/sponsorship - $1,000
  • Carnival: Jakes Jumpers inflatable: $1,020, 
  • Carnival: Food: $1,400
  • Teacher appreciation - $2,500
  • Middle school dance - $250
  • End of year middle school field trip - $2,500
  • Teachers’ wish list - $3,000
  • General PTO fund - $250
  • Dragon courtyard update - $2,500
  • Recess cart - $300
  • Multicultural event - $1,000
 Total budgeted:  $20,570 
To continue providing these opportunities, we need to raise at least $10,000 this year! Your participation truly makes a difference.

Last year with your help, the PTO raised $ 9,869.02

The PTO was able to pay for most of its budgeted items including the school store, a new Recess Cart, Madison field trip for 4th graders, the end of the year school carnival, Middle School field trip to Urban Air, volunteer background checks, DI team, teacher appreciation meals and wish list items, family game night, the pi day fundraiser, ukeleles for the 4th grade concert and Multicultural Night.
The PTO was able to include an unbudgeted donation to Mrs. Becker to the VEX Robotics fields.
