Click here for a list of your teacher's favorite things! Thank you! Thank you to everyone who participate in our fundraisers, volunteer at our events or just attend them. Your presence makes a difference. Thank you for your time and effort! Last year, besides the usual contribution and activities, the PTO donated almost $20,000 to the school which was used to purchase 4 smartboards. Think of these as whiteboard sized Ipads. They have been a big hit with teachers and students and the school would like to purchase an additional 3 smartboards which will cost approximately $15,000. As you can see, we have a long way to go! Please help the school help provide our students with the very best educational experience by participating in fundraisers and making donations. Every donation dollar goes towards student enrichment. The PTO relies on fundraisers and donations. The PTO is a 501(C)(3) organization, and any donation is tax deductible. Please consider donating by writing a check to: The PTO Leonardo Da Vinci School for gifted learners 139 S Monroe Ave Green Bay, WI 54301 Mission The mission of the PTO is to supplement and enrich the educational experience of students at the Leonardo Davinci school for gifted learners. The PTO supports students and teachers by donating school supplies such as musical instruments, books, science models and PE equipment, funding the school store, supporting field trips, paying for volunteer background checks, for the end of the year school carnival and for destination imagination teams. The PTO organizes events and activities such as Marcus cinema sales, apparel sales, popcorn sales, back to school, game night, urban air night, restaurant nights, Trivia night and Harvest fest. We show teachers appreciation by supporting their dinners during PTO conferences, lunch during teacher appreciation week and present gifts during the holidays. The PTO also sponsors the pi day run and runs the chess club. The PTO maintains the PTO connect database, the PTO website, the PTO Facebook page, the teacher's wish list and a list of teacher's favorite things. The PTO maintains school Scrip and box tops fundraisers as well. The PTO receives no reimbursement for all its work ensuring that every dollar donated, raised or earned is returned to the PTO for the school and its students.
